Bacolod-born lady golfer, Mia Piccio, picked up some quick notes in a chat with the legendary Nancy Lopez. The chance meeting was at the Chico’s Patty Berg Memorial, Fort Myers, Fla. which was the 4th tournament of the Symetra Tour.
From her Instagram account, Mia said, "This week didn't go as planned but on the bright side, I got to meet and talk to Nancy Lopez after the round yesterday. #learningfromthebest".
For the past few years, our Bacoleña gem has been following her golfing passion on the road to the LPGA. This week, Mia Piccio will be playing at the Guardian Retirement Championship at Sara Bay, Sarasota, Fla.
